Natural wall finishes in Meridian

Newer construction across Meridian, Eagle, and Star generally has a working vapor barrier, so the wall assembly is already managing moisture and the finish does not have to. That widens the field. Microcement becomes straightforwardly available in wet rooms without the caveats it carries in an older house, and choosing between finishes turns into a question of use and appearance rather than building science. Idaho's hot, dry summers matter more here than rain does: large west-facing great rooms and floor-to-ceiling glass are common in newer Treasure Valley builds, and direct sun through that much glass changes how a color reads through the day more than it does in an older, more compartmentalized house.
